🌷 Things to Do in Northern Kentucky This Spring

There’s just something about spring in Northern Kentucky. The sun finally sticks around past 5 PM, everyone’s mood improves, and suddenly you remember why you love living here.

If you’re in Boone, Kenton, or Campbell County — here are some of my favorite ways to enjoy the season.

🌿 Get Outside (Because We’ve Earned It)

After a Kentucky winter, we all deserve fresh air.

  • Devou Park (Kenton County) – If you haven’t watched the skyline from up here in the spring, you’re missing out. It’s one of the best views around.

  • England-Idlewild Park (Boone County) – Great walking trails, open space, and it actually feels peaceful.

  • Boone Woods Park (Boone County) – Perfect for an easy afternoon walk.

  • A.J. Jolly Park (Campbell County) – Lake views + spring sunshine = immediate mood boost.

Spring just hits different when you’re outside.

🥕 Farmers Market Season Is Back

There is something about walking around a farmers market that feels like you have your life together.

  • Boone County Farmers Market

  • Covington Farmers Market

  • Independence Farmers Market

Fresh flowers, local honey, baked goods you definitely didn’t plan on buying but now need… it’s a whole vibe.

☀️ Patio & Coffee Season

Spring basically means: we’re sitting outside now.

  • The Hive – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — great coffee, great energy.

  • Blinkers Tavern – Underrated patio spot.

  • Greyhound Tavern – Classic NKY staple.

  • Walking around Newport on the Levee when the weather finally cooperates? Elite.

You just feel more alive when you can eat outside.

🎉 Little Spring Traditions We All Secretly Love

Whether you’re heading across the river for Cincinnati Reds Opening Day or just planning a picnic at Devou, spring always feels like a reset.

Longer evenings. More walks. Windows open. Fresh starts.

And honestly, this is the season when people start thinking about what they want their next year to look like.

A Little Real Estate Note (I Can’t Help Myself 😉)

Spring is traditionally one of the busiest seasons in real estate — not because someone said it should be, but because people feel ready.

Ready for more space.
Ready to downsize.
Ready for a yard.
Ready for something new.

If you’re loving where you live, I love that for you.
If you’re quietly thinking about a change, I’m always here to talk it through — zero pressure.

Until then, I’ll probably see you at a farmers market or walking Devou with a coffee in hand.

Happy Spring, NKY 🌷
